The GlenAllachie has revealed its new peated single malt Scotch whisky brand, Meikle Tòir. Meikle Tòir, which translates to ‘big pursuit’, represents Walker and his expert team’s seasonal peated campaign at the distillery which began in 2018. Using mainland peat from St. Fergus, the peated production runs for around six weeks per year, producing approximately 100,000 litres of alcohol annually.

Littlemill has unveiled its latest annual release, The Vanguard Collection: Chapter One, a 45 year old whisky drawn from the oldest and rarest reserves of the Lowland distillery. For this expression, Littlemill has collaborated with British artist Vic Lee, who has worked with brands such as McLaren, Nike and Atkin Guitars.

American whiskey maker FEW Spirits has released a bourbon with Seattle grunge band Alice in Chains. The All Secrets Known Bourbon (101 proof, 50.5% ABV) was produced by FEW at its distillery in Evanston, Illinois and finished for six months in ex-Tequila casks. Just 3,300 bottles are available. The whiskey's release comes as Alice in Chains prepare to kick off their latest US tour, which includes dates with Guns N' Roses.

Royal Salute has unveiled the second release in its Art of Wonder collection combining experimental art pieces with its famous blended Scotch whisky. For the second iteration, Royal Salute partnered with sculptor Conrad Shawcross. He was inspired by the concept of time in both fine art and premium whisky in the creation of his piece, Royal Salute Time Chamber by Conrad Shawcross, which holds a bespoke 53-year-old Royal Salute blend.
