New faculty. The still-unnamed HBO Harry Potter series announced a flurry of magical castings on April 14. Joining John Lithgow’s Professor Dumbledore will be Janet McTeer as Professor McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Nick Frost as Hagrid, Luke Thallon as Professor Quirrell, and Paul Whitehouse as Mr. Filch. Many of these casting choices were rumored, but now HBO is confirming all these people are willing to work with J.K. Rowling. Someone tell Azealia Banks.

Saturday Night Live took the piss out of The White Lotus season 3 last night, and one cast member didn’t love her portrayal. SNL did “The White POTUS,” a take on the crumbling rich folks who run the country. Trump was Tim Ratliff, Melania pivoted accents and became Victoria, etc. Aimee Lou Wood, our beloved Chelsea, went on Instagram Stories with her distaste for Sarah Sherman’s impression. “I did find the SNL thing mean and unfunny,” she wrote on IG stories.

The former went on Jimmy Kimmel Live!with his fly down, talking about eating magic mushrooms out of cow turds and vowing to bed Madonna. The latter went on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and orated about his marathon oration sesh last week in Congress.

Eric Dane returns to Euphoria high April 14. Ahead of the actor’s return to set, Dane disclosed his diagnosis with ALS. “I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter,” said in a statement to People. “I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to set of Euphoria next week.
