The sixth annual London Trans+ Pride took place on Saturday. This grassroots event began with just 1,500 trans people and allies (including Brooke Candy), marching through the streets of the capital. The crowd seems to double in size with every year, and this time 55,000 marched in their beauty, power and pride. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, you’ll know that times are tougher than ever for trans people in the UK.
