Can I use it in front of a 4" wall trap to liven up the room a bit. In that case, how will the reflected/diffused sound behave? There are diffuser tiles that look like pegboard with only some of the holes.

#1 · Dedicated Theater - Switching HVAC Supply SourceWe are getting ready to start work on a theater in our basement (15x22x9). In terms of heat sources, the theater will have 7 seats (probably 4 seats occupied most of the time), a projector, and LED lighting. All other equipment will be in an adjacent storage space. We have a dedicated heat pump in the basement and my mom lives with us (in the basement). She keeps the basement uncomfortably warm (74F) in the winter.

Hello,We're building a home theater with dark walls and a drop ceiling with black ceiling tiles. The room will be used for things other than watching movies, though, so we want good lighting in there. We are putting wall scones for nice lighting but sometimes you want things to be bright so we want to put some LED panel lights in the ceiling. Something like this.

#2 · Welcome. 1. That is a large long room. But your ceiling will mean you can only fit one row of seats. 2. If your budget is $2000, you will do very well with one of the 98" TVs. No projector at that price point will look better. The TV will also be MUCH SIMPLER to setup and use. 3. Given your budget, I would start with 5.1.0 because spreading that budget over more speakers will just degrade the whole experience. 4. Find something you like sitting in.
