Caught up with RedBird redeveloper Terrence Maiden. What's going on at the Southern Dallas project? Their multifamily has leased out; @Chime is planning to expand; a new @JWMarriott hotel is underway; and 7 restaurants are gearing to open.

The industrial experts on the panel say some other areas they are seeing big development outside of the city core are Lancaster, Ennis, Cedar Hill, Midlothian, and more outliers.

Talking Industrial in Sothern Dallas, Conrad Madsen of @PaladinPartners says we are about to see another Industrial Boom in the area, which will create a lot of vacancies.

The flight to luxury is not just a residential thing. Both @WeitzmanTexas exec Bob Young and @Transwestern SVP Billy Gannon say those amenities are a must in office, hospitality, and even retail. "If you don’t have that, you can’t command that," Young says about rental rates.
