As the weather cools and we look towards updating our wardrobes for winter, there’s one status symbol that has always endured: cashmere. Whether it’s New York icon Fran Lebowitz telling us “I do not believe in God. I believe in cashmere”, or Hailey Bieber posting selfies in a stealth-wealth cashmere sweater, this cosy, breathable natural fibre is a classic capturing the zeitgeist yet again. Cashmere isn’t called the “jewel of fibres” for no reason.

Probably because he’s wasted no time pausing, axing, or vowing to roll much on the United States’ existing climate policies since returning to the White House in January.
