ResultsThis study included 688,131 hospitalized children in Shanghai between January 1, 2017, and December 31, 2023. Based on previous literature, K-means Clustering was performed using annual expenditure and HNHC years as the main features, capturing both the absolute cost and the persistence of HNHC status, and three clusters were predefined.
