Chase Rice is performing at the Elizabeth Stampede on June 5th and shortly before joining Tracy & Fizz this morning for an interview, a baby buffalo was born on his ranch that he had to attend to!Fortunately all is well with mom and the baby and Chase was able to join Tracy & Fizz (minus a shirt) and let us know how excited he is to make it back to Colorado and perform at the Elizabeth Stampede. Alcatraz, which has been closed as a prison since 1963, could potentially be set to reopened. President Trump announced he had plans to restore the former maximum security prison into a working prison once again. Alcatraz ended up closing in the 1960’s because its unique location also caused high operating costs and the deteriorating infrastructure made it vulnerable to prisoner escapes. At the time, the cost of housing prisoners was over 2.5x that vs average of the other federal prisons.
