TROY - The runners who finished at the front of the pack in the 77th annual Troy Turkey Trot races were a snapshot of what makes the race so interesting every year. Men's 10K winner Jack Huber, 24, of Delmar, has run the race several times before. He progressed from a fourth-place finish two years ago that was marred by a finish-line collision, to second last year and broke through this year for a win in 31 minutes, 6 seconds on a cold, rainy Thursday.

CBA sophomore running back Tommy Toher ran for 130 yards and two touchdowns, and on another play on which he was supposed to run, he threw an unlikely two-handed scoring pass to Amare' Coffil to help the Brothers top North Rockland 28-7 in their Class AA state quarterfinal contest on Saturday at Lansingburgh High School. The unusual touchdown pass came on a fourth-and-goal play from the 1-yard line, when he found Amare' Coffil for the score.
