Answer: When 24,000 college kids leave town, their apartments and rentals in May, it is an especially busy time for those in garbage and bulky waste pickup. In some student-heavy neighborhoods of Normal, in fact, some waste pickups, especially of bulky stuff, can occur daily instead of once a week.
