Q: I am about to move house. What do I have to do and what should I know about moving house and gun certificates? A: Once you have moved, you must tell the Chief Constable who issued your certificate that you have done so, and give details of your new address. You do not have to send your certificate in, and in these times of excessive delays you should not do so. The certificate remains valid throughout Great Britain.
