Named to the position in February 2020, Stemple helps oversee the Center’s $2.8 billion annual budget. In the position, she aids in the implementation and administration of all integrated Marshall and NASA management, including all aspects of planning, programming, budget and execution guidelines for financial resources.

    Gwendolyn (Gwen) S. Obert is the Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Johnson Space Center, a position she assumed in August 2020. In this role, she assists providing leadership for financial planning, reporting and budget execution for the Center and serves in cross-cutting Agency mission support roles. In 1987, Gwen joined NASA as a secretary for the Mission Operations Directorate and attended college part-time.
