Delaware (Ohio) Hayes 2026 running back Favour Akih entered his junior season relatively unknown in regards to college football recruiting. But that is certainly no longer the case. Akih has 20 plus scholarship offers including one from the Buckeyes. It was an offer he received in mid-March when he made a return visit to Ohio State.

On May 5 Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson was in Alabama and stopped to see defensive tackle Emanuel Ruffin from Bessemer City (Ala.). While there Johnson offered a scholarship to Ruffin. "It felt amazing getting the offer," Ruffin told Bucknuts at that time. "Most definitely (I'm interested). I'm going to take an OV there, I just have to figure out the date.
