Although scattered showers have slowed work in fields this spring, farmers and motorists are being reminded to share roads safely. Motorists need to be alert for large agricultural equipment which typically moves under 25 miles per hour. Indiana State Police note farmers work long hours to prepare and plant their fields, which means increased travel with slow-moving tractors and other equipment, particularly during early morning and evenings.
