Spartan Field’s upgrades herald a new age of Southeast High School athletics. A ribbon-cutting ceremony introduced the public to the $13.3 million renovations at Southeast’s outdoor athletic facility on Tuesday. It not only unveiled a new football field and track but also new concessions, locker rooms, press box and video scoreboard to name a few other enhancements. Southeast football coach Nate Borders, who took over last fall, said it’s now time to capitalize on the overhaul.
