AI Copilot promu par l’IA développée par OpenAI ne serait plus seulement réservé aux utilisateurs de Windows 11. Selon notre confrère Windows Central qui cite des sources proches du dossier, Microsoft travaille sur l’intégration de l’assistant à base d’IA dans une prochaine mise à jour de Windows 10. Aujourd’hui, la firme de Redmond est en phase de déploiement d’AI Copilot au sein de Windows 11 via des mises à jour.

Microsoft is in the process of rolling out its new AI assistant Copilot to Windows 11 as part of the massive 2023 Update. Now, sources tell Windows Central that the company is eager to bring Copilot to Windows 10 as well. This goes against previous reports that Microsoft has shifted all focus to Windows 11 when it comes to introducing new features, but according to Windows Central, the company does not want to risk “missing” the large percentage of people still running Windows 10.

Technology giants continue to move towards password-free logins with passkeys. Passkeys create a cryptographic key pair with trusted devices (such as a smartphone) and a pin code or biometric authentication method, such as fingerprint or face reading, which can then be used to log in to sites and services. The idea is to make account security easier and more secure than passwords. And now Google is taking further initiatives to get us to ditch the somewhat outdated login method.

A severe vulnerability has been found in libwebp, a code library used to render webp images, reports Stack Diary. Webp is a popular image format used by many sites on the Internet – but also by apps and some other software that use web views – and the vulnerability can be used, among other things, to run malicious code on affected devices. Worse yet, it is reportedly being actively exploited by malicious attackers.
