Dukes 92 passed away this morning in New York.

The doctor told her there’s no need for her son to “bake any longer.” So, the first-time mom returned, as instructed, at 6 p.m. on the same day. Health care providers gave her Pitocin to induce labor. Next, they gave her an epidural and broke her water. Dukes-Harris was now on a time clock.
