1. IntroductionBased on the Internet of Things (IoT), urban agriculture is considered to be a promising approach for building sustainable cities that efficiently use resources and address the challenges posed by rapid urbanization [1]. IoT-based urban agriculture allows for optimized food production, distribution, and storage [2,3,4], which helps to reduce food waste, ensure the delivery of fresh and safe food [5,6], and support the implementation of the ‘farm-to-fork’ concept [7].
