SAN ANTONIO - Nearly five years after the tragic death of her only child, Ana Maria Carpio is fighting to keep one of the individuals involved in the case behind bars. Her son, 17-year-old Sebastian Carpio, was found dead in the trunk of a vehicle that had been set on fire and abandoned in far west Bexar County back in 2020. Investigators revealed that Sebastian had been shot by another teenager, who is now serving a 20-year sentence for manslaughter.
