    UPPER SAUCON TWP., Pa. - One in 31 kids in the United States is diagnosed with autism. April is Autism Awareness Month, now increasingly recognized as Autism Acceptance Month. Four-year-old Nathan may be non-verbal, but his unique perspective speaks volumes. "He has his AAC, that's what he uses. They've done a great job with teaching him how to use it and be able to communicate with us," said his mom, Sara Valiente. Valiente takes Nathan to Helping Hands Therapy in Center Valley five days a week.
