The NJSIAA boys lacrosse state tournament continued this week with the quarterfinal round where 12 Shore Conference teams competed and five advanced to Thursday’s sectional semifinals. Here are eight standouts from the second round of the state tournament, presented by Top Mental Game. Bailey Carroll, Sr., Midfield, BarnegatCarroll scored twice during Barnegat’s 12-5 loss to Ocean City in the South Group 2 quarterfinals. He had two goals and two assists in a 20-2 first-round win over Cedar Creek.
