The Dallas Mavericks stunned the NBA world by winning the 2025 NBA Draft Lottery on Monday, earning the No. 1 pick in the draft and the right to presumably draft Duke star Cooper Flagg. The Mavericks ranked 11th out of the 14 teams in the lottery and had just a 1.8 percent chance of landing the top selection. By comparison, the NBA's three worst teams this past season - Charlotte, Utah and Washington - each had a 14 percent chance at the pick.
