Wyoming added a big commitment to their 2026 football recruiting class on Wednesday, adding rising senior quarterback Taylor Hasselbeck. The son of seven-year NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck, Taylor is entering his senior season at Ensworth School in Nashville. Tim took over as the head coach at Ensworth in December of 2023 and is entering year two leading the Tigers. Taylor led Ensworth to an 11-1 record as the team’s starting signal caller.

New Mexico head coach Eric Olen and staff have continued their run of extending scholarship offers to high school recruits after the recent AAU basketball viewing periods. On Thursday, California forward Ryan Doane was the latest to receive an offer from the Lobos. A 2028 prospect from JSerra Catholic High School in San Juan Capistrano, Doane now has offers from California, Stanford, UC Santa Barbara and New Mexico with three high school seasons left to play.

San Diego State continues to extend scholarship offers as the spring winds down. In recent days, the Aztecs have been active in Texas, recruiting one of the nation's hotbeds of football talent. On Wednesday, Estacado rising senior Cedric Ross received an offer from San Diego State, adding to his list of scholarship offers since wrapping up his junior year of football.

San Diego State announced kickoff times and television details for most of the 2025 schedule on Thursday morning. The Aztecs will currently have nine of their 12 scheduled games on national TV in 2025 with additional television arrangements still to be announced. San Diego State will kickoff the season on Thursday, August 28 against Stony Brook at Snapdragon Stadium. Game time and where the game will be seen has not yet been announced.
