GBH WORLD has created a lineup of films in honor of AAPI slated for the entire month of May. There will be a total of four programs on WORLD; three will be full-length documentaries, and seven short films titled, Asian American Stories of Resilience and Beyond. The intersection of recognizing emerging filmmakers from different backgrounds while highlighting diversity and culture is something that GBH WORLD takes pride in.

Tuberculosis (TB) has been responsible for killing more people than any other infectious disease throughout history. In the early 20th century and before the discovery of antibiotics, TB was essentially a death sentence with incredibly high mortality rates. Patients were quarantined in sanatoriums, where they were given fresh air, sunshine, and rest, but few survived.
