    Special IssuePublished as part of ACS Sensors special issue “Breath Sensing”. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection has been extensively associated with gastrointestinal diseases, most notably gastritis, peptic ulcers, and gastric cancer. Consequently, an accurate diagnosis of H. pylori infection is critical to prevent disease progression and guide treatment, particularly in patients with a history of ulcer disease where direct eradication therapy (1−3) is essential.
