Ever since she took over the reins as the Monomoy softball team’s starting pitcher when she was in eighth grade, Lojko has been among the Cape’s brightest softball stars. That hasn’t changed during the early part of the talented pitcher’s senior season.

The senior from Chatham has been among the Cape’s most prolific lacrosse scorers to start off the spring season, recording 22 points through three games. He scored two goals and tallied two assists in the team’s 14-2 victory at Mashpee to help the Sharks improve to 3-0.

The Harwich resident was the lone senior for the Monomoy Regional High School winter cheer team, earning Most Valuable Player honors after helping the program capture its first Cape and Islands championship and qualify for its second state championship. “It’s awesome, especially being a senior,” said Morgan.
