Ever since she took over the reins as the Monomoy softball team’s starting pitcher when she was in eighth grade, Lojko has been among the Cape’s brightest softball stars. That hasn’t changed during the early part of the talented pitcher’s senior season.

Monomoy senior Tamer Khalil has tallied 22 points through the team’s first three games. BRAD JOYAL PHOTO MASHPEE – Tamer Khalil has picked up right where he left off. The senior from Chatham has been among the Cape’s most prolific lacrosse scorers to start off the spring season, recording 22 points through three games. He scored two goals and tallied two assists in the team’s 14-2 victory at Mashpee to help the Sharks improve to 3-0.
