As moisture pushes back into the Borderland, we will see slight chances for gusty storms return. Currently, the best chances for showers/storms look to be on Tuesday. With slight chances lingering through Thursday. Storms will likely contain gusty winds, which could cause some blowing dust. Isolated storms may also contain hail. Highs will come down some, in the to mid to upper 90s(near average) Tuesday and Wednesday.

Storm chances will be down overall through the end of the weekend. But chances may increase slightly next week.

A storm system moving from the Pacific Northwest into the Northern and Central Rockies. Will bring a return of gusty winds and blowing dust to the Borderland Tuesday and Wednesday. Monday will be breezy to windy, with some blowing light blowing dust possible. Tuesday and Wednesday will see stronger wind, with gusts 45 to 50+ mph possible. Brining a return of widespread blowing dust possible both Tuesday and Wednesday.

The KFOX14 Severe Weather Team has issued a Weather Warn for Sunday due to winds kicking up blowing dust. We will still be on the gusty Sunday, with gusts 20 to 30+ mph. This will likely be strong enough to lead to areas of blowing dust by the afternoon/evening hours. Visibility reductions also remain possible, so use caution if traveling Sunday, especially during the afternoon and evening. Winds will also be on the gusty side Monday.
