While I never really thought about the idea of “clean” air in the home five years ago, since the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020, air quality in our house has been on my radar in a big way. In the past few years, the smoke from forest fires has been another concern. We’ve also had a self-inflicted home air quality issue to worry about since last year in the form of a series of home renovations.

I go to a fair number of concerts and hearing damage is something that I have become increasingly concerned about. I love listening to music. Fluance–the Niagara Falls-based audio brand that makes some of my favorite turntables-has a new product release aimed at discerning music fans. Powered speakers offer true stereo sound without the need for an amplifier or receiver. They make a great option when you want something more than a portable Bluetooth speaker, but don’t have the space or budget for a component stereo system.

My Forbes review of Andover Audio's SpeakEasy 4 powered bookshelf speakers https://t.co/sdyYIIaDpE If you want to stream BT audio or plug in a turntable (even one without a pre-amp) and love stereo sound with lots of low end thump, have a look at these. https://t.co/r519nqYDv5

Another weekend of fantastic 80s nostalgia. Western Fair managed to land Squeeze, along with The English Beat, The Box and Spoons. Have never seen Squeeze live before, so this concert was extra special. https://t.co/e8wnEOs98X

I'm not normally a casino guy, but ventured into Caesar's Windsor to catch this guy – Howard Jones – along with ABC and Haircut 100. https://t.co/3owzdUtQsS
