Available from the Ford Custom Garage, the Ford Bronco Coastal package includes a black Bimini top with a silver Bucking Bronco graphic, a two-inch suspension lift kit to fit 33-inch tires, as well as a grille, 17-inch wheels, and wheel arches, each painted in matching silver.

Pete Aardema and Kevin Braun scheme up and build amazing engines for their land speed race car, which has taken on El Mirage and the Bonneville Salt Flats. We’ve toured their Southern California shop and were amazed by the feats of hot-rodding invention as they built a 6.0-liter V-12 from scratch. We don’t visit as much as we’d like, but thankfully, Greg Quirin has been keeping close tabs on their racing and engine-building exploits, chronicling the successes and setbacks in video form.

If you’re a fan of T-buckets, then you’re probably familiar with Norm Grabowski. The late hot-rodder rose to prominence when he built the forerunner of the T-bucket, his 1922 Model T known as “Kookie,” which inspired drag racer Tommy Ivo to build a similar car. Thus, the T-bucket craze was born. Grabowski’s wild creation was such a hit in the mid-’50s that he parlayed the car’s fame into a number of acting roles for himself in the 1950s and ’60s.

The Golden State’s capital has a long history of custom car culture, from hot rods to lowriders. Each year, custom cars of all kinds are celebrated at the Sacramento Autorama, but it has a special award for the specific style of custom that was a staple in its early days and continues to shine today. In 1953, the Car of Elegance award was created for these vehicles. Now known as Custom d’Elegance, the trophy and prize are for 1936-1964 vehicles featuring significant body modifications.

Herb Bowden’s family purchased this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro new from the dealership. It served as a daily driver for his mother and his sisters before passing down to him, yet it spent most of its life in storage. Thankfully, it’s back on the road after a thorough refresh by the crew at Old Anvil Speed Shop in Orange, California. Recently unveiled at the Grand National Roadster Show earlier this year, it’s better than new and ready to rack up miles yet again.
