    The McDonell and Thorp softball teams are heading back to state in convincing fashion. The Macks and Cardinals rolled to sectional championship victories on Thursday afternoon as McDonell blanked Shell Lake 9-0 in a Division 4 matchup at Casper Park and Thorp routed Northwood/Solon Springs 14-5 in a Division 5 battle in Thorp.

Sam Hebert, Jackson LeMay and Jackson Bohland are all in action in the 200 meters after sweeping the three top spots at sectionals in Hudson. Hebert and Ian Kestner finished first and second, respectively, in the 400.
