Former University of Wisconsin point guard Chucky Hepburn received recognition Monday for his breakout season. The Louisville senior was named the Atlantic Coast Conference defensive player of the year, securing the honor one season after he was named to the All-Big Ten defensive team for the Badgers. Adding to the accolades, Hepburn also was named an All-ACC first-team selection and received one vote for conference player of the year, which was awarded to Duke freshman Cooper Flagg.

Wisconsin volleyball announced Monday that it plans to play four matches this spring. The Badgers open the spring with a road date with Hawaii at 11 p.m. March 25, the first of two matches against the Rainbow Warriors spanning back-to-back days in Manoa, Hawaii. A time for the pair's second contest — on March 26 — has yet to be released. Wisconsin then hosts a pair of home tilts upon its return home, matching up with in-state foes Marquette and Green Bay.
