VPD vapor pressure deficit 1 INTRODUCTION Zoysiagrass (Zoysia spp. Willd.) is a rhizomatous and stoloniferous, warm-season (C4) turfgrass that is native to southeast Asia (Patton et al., 2017). Zoysiagrasses are well adapted to the warm and transition climatic zones in the United States, with primary utility in commercial and residential lawns in addition to golf course fairways and tees (Patton et al., 2017).
