    Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have a full day of baseball action today, starting with the Rangers and Tigers at 6:40 pm ET. There has been some bumpy weather along the east coast, but morning indications are that we should avoid postponements. We have some good pitching on tap, but plenty of suspect arms, as well as warm weather on the West Coast, as evidenced by at least eight games with projected totals of nine runs or more.

    Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: Nine games are on a truncated Thursday slate. Four of those, including the 3:10 p.m. ET start of a DET@COL twin bill in Denver, are daytime affairs. CHW@KC could be impacted by wet weather. The Matchup Ratings are unspectacular at the top but overall strong through the middle and paced by ERA and WHIP factors. Notable Starts:Brayan Bello missed most of the first month of the season with a shoulder strain and didn't make his 2025 debut until April 22.
