Programs have the opportunity to put themselves in elite company by winning a state title. They’ll be able to speak on being a champion for the rest of time if they can put together a complete 48 minutes in their championship games this week.

    Ryle continued their quest for a big school state title and Cooper marched on in our NKY Round-Up.RYLE 43, CENTRAL HARDIN 14Ryle captured their first region championship since 2010 with a commanding victory over Central Hardin on Friday night. The Raiders broke open a 7-7 ball game and never looked back as they dominated on both sides of the ball. COOPER 56, SOUTHWESTERN 15Cooper scored 48 unanswered points to pull away from Southwestern and win a region title on Friday night.

    We have made our way to week 14 and the importance of that is massive. We have reached the regional finals and teams that have made it this far have a chance to punch their ticket to the state final four. Some programs will be looking to do so for the first time in a long time while others are looking to get back to finish the job this time around. Whatever the case, every team wants to advance and give themselves a shot at a state championship.

    Cooper continued their undefeated season and CovCath made a thrilling comeback in our NKY Round-Up.COOPER 45, SCOTT COUNTY 20The Cooper Jaguars continued their undefeated season and their quest to make it back to the state championship game with a comfortable win over Scott County. Keagan Maher had a strong game for the Jaguars as he was an elusive figure out of the backfield all night long and found the end zone multiple times.

    Week 13 is here and that means we are two weeks into the postseason and the stakes are getting higher by the minute. Everyone is pumped as we move forward from the players and coaches to the fans and administration. We have reached the regional semi-finals and there are only 16 teams left playing football in each division in Ohio. Being a part of the sweet 16 is a great accomplishment but it also gives the feeling of wanting more.
