When I attended a virtual version of Digital Pedagogy Lab in 2021, I joined a microstories track. At that time, I created this blog site that includes a series of 100-word stories about different people, places, and issues that would appear in my book ( out this August!). Since that process helped me think through the stories in my book project creatively, I thought this would also be an interesting way to work through my time in ELY IX. I was right.

My most important takeaway from ELY IX is that I've learned to see myself as a leader. Not just an administrator. Not a *reluctant* leader. I now consider myself someone who owns my leadership role and am working to make it my own. I am excited about CNM's new focus on the CTL's teaching and learning framework. It provides new language to help faculty set meaningful annual goals for innovation in the classroom.

The tension between these words fascinates me. When I became Associate Dean, I heard constant jokes about going to "the dark side." As I considered taking on an administrative role, I also noticed a lot of spreadsheets. When I think of leaders and leadership, words like inspiration, support, partnership, mentor, and facilitator come to mind.

Every teacher is a leader. As teachers, we want to communicate our passion and understanding to students, so that new opportunities will open to them. My proudest moments as a teacher come when students tell me how they were changed through an experience in class. Some have told me that my passion for history shows through in the classroom (both in-person and virtual). Others have recounted how they've shared insights into the past with family members or friends.

Two Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes models with full Reynolds-stress transport (RST) and tensor eddy viscosity are presented. These new models represent RST extensions of the k−2L−a−C and k−ϕ−L−a−C models by Morgan [Phys. Rev. E 103, 053108 (2021); Phys. Rev. E 105, 045104 (2022)].
