Just as one Bluegrass native exited the program another one was welcomed to the family. After 24 hours or so of rumors, Reece Potter committed to Kentucky on Monday, March 5th. The 7’1″ center from Miami (OH) starred at Lexington Catholic before playing two years with the Redhawks. Big Blue Nation had a special connection to Travis Perry. Being the all-time leading scorer in KHSAA history certainly carries a different level of mystic. However, Potter might have a more intriguing upside.

Possibly my favorite thing about this *projected* roster: positional versatility. Kentucky will have MANY legit options at every position on the court throughout the season, with most players being able to play 2-3 spots. https://t.co/sX12IEAYnp

Playing time ALWAYS works itself out. The last thing I’m ever going to worry about is having “too many” guys who are capable of playing in the games and competing for minutes.

Kentucky’s addition of Florida transfer guard Denzel Aberdeen has been universally praised, with some national media members wondering if the Cats are too stacked. “I don’t know how you keep [13] guys happy in this day and age.” https://t.co/YcdQGOTdBE https://t.co/wgVQDAdZGv
