Mike Flanagan’s Carrie television show has been officially greenlit. Flanagan, who is known for making Netflix shows such as 2018’s The Haunting of Hill House and 2021’s Midnight Mass, is currently working on an adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie for Amazon MGM Studios. Per Deadline, the series has now received an official greenlight. Flanagan serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer, while he’ll also direct some of the episodes. The show will have eight episodes in total.
