SuperCoachDon't miss out on the headlines from SuperCoach. Followed categories will be added to My News. Nick Daicos may have snapped a mid-season malaise at halftime against North Melbourne. After three uncharacteristically low SuperCoach scores – 89, 79, 95 – and some heavy tags, Daicos was looking at another middling tally when he entered the main break with 10 disposals and two marks.

Former Geelong players are making their mark on their new football homes after departing the Cattery at the end of last season. Tom Hawkins has been the big name attraction since the start of the season making his return to Finley on Good Friday. He played a matchwinning role with four goals and doing more than his fair share of work off the field. “You can take the boy out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the boy,” Finley president Matt Clarke said.

Essendon masters of their own downfall. Martin handballing over his shoulder when we could have reset on the wing. Experienced players are making some awful mistakes #AFLBluesDons

I think the biggest problem with Essendon’s list is they have too many of the same types. Midfield mix tonight so far: Caldwell, Parish, Setterfield (better by hand). Hobbs on a wing. 🤢 Forwards: Guelfi, Gresham. Smalls who are too slow. Perkins no leg speed but a lead up.
