HAMTRAMCK, Mich. (FOX 2) - A major police presence is on the scene in Hamtramck where officials say a teen was shot in the head. On Monday night, Hamtramck police told FOX 2 that a 17-year-old girl was shot in the head on the 12000 block of Dyar Street. Police Chief Jamiel Altaheri said there was a second victim who was 16-years-old as well. "Two victims were young. Um, one was 17 the other was 16-years-old. We got good leads on this investigation.

ROMULUS, Mich. (FOX 2) - A woman is dead after a car crash on I-275 and W Huron River Drive on Monday night. Michigan State Police said at 7:10 p.m., they were called out to southbound I-275 for a single-car crash. When they arrived, officials say they found a Jeep with massive damage to the front in the center median with the center bridge abutment.

A sea of brake lights covered part of southbound M-10 (The Lodge) on Wednesday night, as first responders shut down the highway for what they say was a felonious assault that occurred. What we know: Just after 9 p.m., Michigan State Police said M-10 at Linwood had all lanes shut down for troopers to conduct an evidence search for a felonious assault. No injuries were reported. As of 9:25 p.m., traffic is being detoured to the Linwood ramp.
