KANSAS CITY, Mo—The Spurgeon College men’s soccer team traveled to Orlando, Florida, last week to compete in the 2024 NCCAA DII National Championship Tournament. Making its first National Tournament appearance in program history, the Spurgeon Knights placed 8th in a historic season. “I am incredibly proud of the Spurgeon Knights men’s soccer team,” said President Jason Allen. “To make the National Championship Tournament in the first five years of our program’s history says a lot.

KANSAS CITY, Mo—Spurgeon College’s Men’s Basketball team placed third in the NCCAA DII National Tournament on March 16, marking the first time in program history that the team has made a tournament appearance and placed in the top three. During the tournament, Senior Jude Warren was named the National Player of the Year in the division. “I am incredibly proud of the Spurgeon Knight’s basketball team,” said President Jason Allen.
