    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Right now, Bradford pear trees are in bloom across Tennessee. They're beautiful, but notoriously weak when it comes to standing up to strong winds. That's why some states are banning them. Walk past one, and it'll smell like you've just walked passed a pond full of dead fish, but that's not why there's a push to ban these trees. Several states including Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Ohio have already banned them. In others, there's talk about doing the same.

Doctors, nurses and patients joined together to celebrate the milestone anniversary. The children's hospital serves kids from all across the country. Right now, they're serving nearly 1,800 children everyday. FOX 17 News spoke with the grandmother of a recent patient. A little 3-year-old girl.
