At the 2025 ULI Spring Meeting, leaders from Oxland Group, Taylor Morrison, and Highland Homes convened for a panel titled “The New Builder/Developer Dynamic: Partnering for Success in a Shifting Market.” Tom Woliver, co-president and founder of Oxland Group, moderated the discussion with Erik Heuser, chief corporate operations officer for Taylor Morrison, and Jeff Stinson, senior vice president of Highland Homes.

Three-time Paralympian medalist, Denver resident, bestselling author, and motivational speaker Amy Purdy shared her inspirational story during the closing session of the 2025 ULI Spring Meeting. At 19, Purdy had both her legs partially amputated due to a bacterial meningitis infection and was near death. Purdy shared that doctors said she had only a 2 percent chance of surviving. Her spleen was removed, and eventually she would need a kidney transplant.

TeamLHBK from the University of Cambridge in the UK has been named the winner of the sixth annual ULI Hines Student Competition—Europe. The jury’s decision was announced by ULI and Hines, the global real estate investor, developer and manager, following a two-day in person final held at Hines’ European headquarters, “Grainhouse” in London. Six diverse multidisciplinary teams representing various universities and business schools from across the region participated in the competition final.
