Warm and humid weather continues!The unsettled weather pattern continues another day as drier conditions return this weekend, which is great news for those attending Festival International. However, there is still a slight possibility of a shower or thunderstorm tomorrow. Thankfully, we do not expect widespread rainfall for the rest of the week. A few areas may have patchy fog. Easter weekend is expected to be warm, windy, and humid, with temperatures starting tonight in the 70s. On Saturday, we’ll be back in the 80s with partly to mostly cloudy skies. A Wind Advisory will take effect tomorrow, with south/southeast winds up to 20 mph and gusts near 30 mph. Looking ahead to Easter Sunday, the weather forecast for Acadiana has improved. Little to no rain is expected on Sunday , but there is a higher chance of rain in the forecast for Monday.

The mercury rises tonight! It'll be a mild one with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s. Tomorrow’s highs are expected to be in the low to mid-80s, accompanied by breezy conditions and partly cloudy skies. Some areas farther east could be flirting with 90°! The weather models are still indecisive about the rain chances for Sunday. Expect a lower chance of rain for Easter, around 30%, with a higher likelihood in northern Louisiana.
