A new Star Wars manga taking place during the sequel trilogy is set to be released this year. According to an article on Screen Rant, “Star Wars: The Path of the Lightsaber” is written by Kenny Ruiz and will have a new ensemble of characters. Set between “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” and “The Rise of Skywalker,” the manga will be centered on a character named Nioka, who is a young tinkerer and an aspiring Jedi who idolizes the legendary Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker.

When one thinks of a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, images of bravery, honor and respect are evoked. A veteran has volunteered to put his or her life on the line for our country and our freedom. Many have survived conflicts, and many have lost their lives in the name of securing our liberty. These special groups of heroes deserve all the recognition for their service. However, another group of people tried to deprive that recognition.

As we delve more into the Tales of the Empire, we continue to see Morgan Elsbeth’s story unravel. In episode 2, "The Path of Anger," we see her rise to power as Magistrate of the planet Corvus. The “Path of Anger” is a story about Morgan’s brilliance and ambition being unacknowledged by the powers that be of the Empire. It is also a story about how the people of Corvus view her as a failure of a leader while she feels otherwise until one sees her vision and acknowledges her talents and brilliance.
