Recently, Pursuitist traveled to Miami, Florida to drive two new vehicles that will enter the U.S. market by 2030, built by CUPRA. CUPRA is the Barcelona, Spain-based brand of the Volkswagen Group. CUPRA’s U.S.-bound models will slot between Audi and Volkswagen offerings. The brand plans to initially offer a two-SUV lineup: Formentor and Terramar. On April 30, 2025, BMW Manufacturing celebrated a historic milestone as the seven millionth BMW rolled off the assembly line at the BMW Plant in Spartanburg, South Carolina. To commemorate this special event, associates assembled a BMW ALPINA XB7 painted ALPINA Green Metallic and powered by a 4.4-liter BMW ALPINA Bi-Turbo V8, 32-valve engine, producing 631 horsepower. Due to its significance, the vehicle will remain at the factory and become part of the BMW Historic Collection.
