UnitedHealth Group Inc.’s chief legal officer Christopher Zaetta was covered by the company for $213,100 in security costs last year. The insurance giant revealed in a proxy statement late Monday that it spent more than $1.6 million in security costs last year for five senior executives, including Zaetta. The filing does not disclose when the security began. Brian Thompson, a former CEO of UnitedHealth’s insurance division, was shot to death in midtown Manhattan on Dec. 4.

Meta disclosed how much it paid WilmerHale in 2024 because the firm’s senior international counsel, Robert Kimmitt, was named lead independent director in 2020 for the Mark Zuckerberg-led company.

Flutter Entertainment PLC, the world’s largest betting company and owner of FanDuel, has hired veteran law department leader Don Liu to be its new chief legal officer. A spokeswoman for the company confirmed Thursday that Liu will report to its CEO Peter Jackson and be based in New York following Flutter’s listing last year on the New York Stock Exchange.
