Two people have been arrested and charged with murder in the Monday evening shooting at a home in unincorporated Altamonte Springs, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. The suspects, Tristin Tully Bennette, 18, and Natalia Precious Voltaire, 24, were arrested around 5 p.m. Tuesday during a traffic stop by Altamonte Springs Police officers in the East Altamonte area near Northlake Boulevard, according to a Wednesday news release from the Sheriff's Office.

An Orange County deputy sheriff shot a man who attacked him Saturday morning while he was checking on a suspicious person behind a Pine Hills discount store, according to Sheriff John Mina. First aid was provided on scene for the man's gunshot wounds until paramedics arrived to transport him to a hospital where he was last reported in stable condition, Mina said during a news conference a few hours after the altercation.

A man has been arrested and confessed to a string of thefts of merchandise from the Lowe's home improvement story in Kissimmee, the the Osceola County Sheriff's Office. In a Saturday news release, the agency said that on Thursday deputies arrested Edwin Ibanez, 55, and booked him into jail for grand theft (felony, two charges), petit theft (misdemeanor, four charges), dealing in stolen property (felony, six charges) and driving while license suspended.

The Federal Aviation Administration has announced that departures to Orlando International Airport from certain areas of the United States and Florida are grounded Saturday evening due to thunderstorms. FAA issued the ground stop at 5:59 p.m. and it will continue until 7:15 p.m. with a 30-60% chance of an extension. The ground stop applies to departures heading to OIA from the Atlanta area; the Washington, D.C. area; the Houston area; and in Florida from the Jacksonville and Miami areas.
