Skies over west Tennessee are filled with smoke in the mid to upper levels due to distant fires over parts of Canada. Canada has had a very active season with over 160 wildfires and with the north flow, we are getting some of the smoke overhead. The northwest flow in the mid to upper levels is bringing the smoke right down into the southeast and midsouth today. While there will be some hazy skies at times into the weekend, The weather will stay dry for most of us.
