American Idol judge Carrie Underwood is coming under fire from fans after some bizarre comments to singer Jamal Roberts. The 42-year-old singer joined the judge's panel this season, replacing Katy Perry, 20 years after the Idol win that launched her career. Only five singers remained - Slater Nalley, John Foster, Thunderstorm Artis, Breanna Nix and Jamal Roberts - after Gabby Samone and Mattie Pruitt were sent home on Sunday.

Season 23 of American Idol is winding down, with the Top 7 being whittled down to the Top 5 on Sunday's new episode, but many fans aren't too happy with the results. Heading into this week's new episode, the top 7 was comprised of Gabby Samone, Jamal Roberts, Breanna Nix, John Foster, Slater Nalley, Mattie Pruitt and Thunderstorm Artis. Each singer performed twice on Sunday, the first song being a Disney-themed song and the second a tribute to their moms for Mother's Day.

Marvel's Thunderbolts continued its box office success with a repeat weekend at the top of the domestic charts. The superhero blockbuster took in $74.6 million from its debut weekend at the box office, and while its second weekend dropped by more than half its opening, it still found its way to the top. Thunderbolts took in an estimated $33.1 million this weekend, which represents a 55.5% drop from last weekend's debut, according to Box Office Mojo.
