The Los Angeles Lakers went on a hot streak after trading for Luka Doncic, and one bettor is wagering big that they will ride that momentum to an NBA Championship. If they do, the bettor will win $1 million. According to Yahoo! senior sports betting analyst Ben Fawkes, one bettor wagered $100,000 on the Lakers to win the title with +1000 odds at BetMGM Sportsbook. What’s it like playing Augusta National? Sports Illustrated’s Brian Giuffra takes you through his round. Seconds are a funny thing when you have a tee time at Augusta National Golf Club. You constantly look at your watch, the long dial tick, tick, ticking away, one … two … three ... People notice you looking and ask what time it is. They care just as much as you do. Every second is precious. You try to slow them down. Time presses onward toward inevitability. Everything is moving too fast.

The Masters was a hit for the SI Golf Betting Panel with SI golf betting insider Matt Vincenzi hitting Justin Rose first-round lead outright (100-1, FanDuel) and FanSided senior editor Cody Williams hitting Rory McIlroy to win (+650, FanDuel). We’ve hit the FRL market in four of the last five weeks. Now, we turn our attention to Harbour Town for the RBC Heritage.

RT @SI_Betting: Another winner for the @SI_Golf betting panel as @MattVincenziPGA nails Justin Thomas (+2000) at the Heritage!

Really interesting insights. Tour Championship getting less betting volume than the John Deere says a lot. LIV < 1% of total volume does too. This is one book, but it does speak to what we've all been saying: Most people don't care about the Tour Championship or LIV.

Can betting volume on the PGA Tour vs. LIV tell us any more about the comparison of interest in the two tours? @JosephLaMagna caught up with @SCooney3, the head golf oddsmaker at Circa Sports, to see what the numbers could tell us. Read here ➡️ https://t.co/lSz0y3oyCM https://t.co/2OJFNBphaR
